Introduction
A glass rooflight developed to satisfy a growing demand in the market for a fire rated glass rooflight . Utilising our standard Flushglaze skylight profile we have used fire resistant components so that the Flushglaze is available ina rooflight that satisfies the 30 minutes integrity & 30 minutes insulation requirements. The rooflight is available up to 1200mm square metres and weighs 142kg at the maximum size.

The product has been tested and approved by Building Research Establishment (BRE) Watford.

6mm soft coat low E coated clear toughened outer pane
16mm black silicone sealed air cavity with steel spacer
27mm overall inner pane consisting of 7 layers of 3mm float glass, 5 layers of 1mm fire reactive material and a layer of 0.76mm PVB film

Framework
Utilizing our standard flushglaze aluminum framework available in polyester powder coatings either RAL7015 Matt Grey or RAL9010 Matt White, alternative finishes are available at an extra cost.

Installation
All our rooflights are supplied assembled and packaged straight from the factory, to sit on a pre prepared upstand by the builder/contractor.  The builder needs to provide a fully weathered kerb that matches the fire performance of the rooflight.  It is recommended that for this product that you use our installation team for the install.  The builder will however need to prepare for getting the rooflight to the area of installation.
