Skydoor Rooflight).
Here at Glazing Vision we apply a streamlined design to provide rooflights with sky only views having concealed mechanisms and framework and are proud to offer high quality roof lights with smooth, quiet and safe operation.
We are always striving to improve our products with alternative designs, materials and finishes through continuous investment in our Research and Development team. Designers who work in partnership with Glazing Vision experience the flexibility of conceptual thinking to achieve award-winning designs
GV VisionVent Rooflights
The VisionVent is a thermally broken Hinged Flat Roof vent, that can be installed on a flat (Minimum 3 degrees) or pitched roof, or even incorporated into our Flushglaze rooflight for large areas of glazing where there is a requirement for ventilation. The product has been designed with a minimal amount of visible internal framework and concealment of the electrical operators within the frame, giving a 100% clear glass area. The VisionVent comes in three variants, VisionVent Solo ~(electric or manual vent only), VisionVent Access (part electric, part manual) suitable for maintenance access and the Manual Access Hatch.
GV Skydoor Rooflights
The Skydoor Rooflight is used when the size capacity exceeds 3m2 or the client is looking for access (90 degree opening capacity) onto a roof terrace. This Skylight can be supplied in single or dual leaf dependent on the requirement. A manual override operation can be integrated into the rooflight making it ideal for a Succah (Jewish Synagogue) rooflight. A high performance safety glass is flush fixed and factory bonded wherever possible, giving a clean flush all-glass appearance to the outside, hence its suitability for low pitch and flat roof applications. Often specified for ambience and access where a full opening is required.
GV Hinged Pyramid Rooflights
The Hinged Pyramid Rooflight range of products can be used to enhance any building or skyline as they are designed to achieve maximum sustained natural daylight in any environment. The clarity and longevity of glass ensures good light transmission through the life of the rooflight, typically 50% more than polycarbonate, over the same life cycle. The Skyline Pyramid Rooflight can be provided with “trickle venting” allowing background ventilation, that can be incorporated discretely into its sill.
GV Manual Access Hatch Rooflights
The Manual Access Hatch Rooflight (part of the VisionVent range of products) is designed to allow access to the roof for maintenance only. It is not designed for regular roof terrace access (see our GV Box Rooflight Range). The Manual Access Hatch Rooflight has two settings – closed or fully open to approximately 80-85degrees (depending on dimensions). The other standard features of the Manual Access Hatch Rooflight are the same as the VisionVent offering high performance, thermally broken construction, rigid two point opening and minimum framework, maximum daylight.
GV X-Vent
Saving lives and looking good, the new X-Vent sets the new standard for Smoke Ventilation. A smoke vent that can proudly sit alongside our product range, after lots of stringent testing the X-Vent (vent to 30° and AOV 140°) is available in 2 standard sizes 1400mm x 1400mm (provides 1m2 of ventilation) and the 1400mm x 1900mm (provides 1.5mm2). And the X-Vent is also able to be integrated into the Flushglaze for larger glazing requirements. The mechanisms on the X-Vent are so powerful it not only lets you open to the rooflight in under 1 minute it also lets you bring it back again in less than a minute.
